When someone is lost, time is critical. So is the equipment you use in your search. Life Support International’s search and rescue equipment includes backboards, litters and stretchers, ladders and ropes and rescue nets, as well as helicopter hoist gear, ice rescue equipment and ring buoys.

Anti-Exposure FlyersCoverall

The Anti-Exposure Flyer’s Coverall is intended for use by Aviators and aircrew for protection during military flight maneuvers. The Anti-Exposure Flyer’s Coverall shall be worn by an individual for flight operations in accordance with climatic and operational requirements. It is a dry suit type anti-exposure coverall that is de- signed to be Waterproof, Breathable, and Fire-Resistant.

ANTI-G Suit

The LSI Anti-G Suit consists of a fire-resistant aramid cloth outershell which houses a bladder. It is cut away at the buttocks, groin and knees. The outershell has waist and leg entrance slide fasteners, six adjustment lacing areas with lacing covers, and two easily de- tached leg pockets with slide fastener closures.

Billy Pugh Rescue Net

Billy Pugh Rescue Nets offer a safe means of pick-up and transport of personnel and/or survivors by helicopter. Designed for use in the harshest of environ- ments, these nets can be used on land or in water (with or without the optional flotation collar).

Coverall CWU-27P

LSI is a manufacturer and distributor of NomexTM coveralls utilized by aviators in the military community. These coveralls are designed to be worn as an outer garment in warm zones, manufactured of NomexTM fire resistant material to provide protection in the event of an aircraft fire.

Crew Survival Kit

The CSS is designed with modern upgraded survival aids. The kit is split into 3 modules enabling ALSE personnel ease of management, and long term cost reduction. The LIRSH Module has 2 year shelf life while the Medical and Survival Modules have no shelf life.

First Aid Kit, LS-600-50

HARK, Helicopter Aerial Rescue Kit, is the most advanced search and rescue aerial deployed life raft system on the market. It is an air-to-sea rescue system which is manually deployed from rotary winged aircraft. Each kit that is deployed provides a 10 man life raft, with sufficient survival contents to sustain life for 6 – 10 persons for 24 hours.

Gunners Belt, RES-1075-00

The Personnel Retaining Safety Harness is designed to be used by crewmembers operating outside of the aircraft. Made of nylon webbing and provided with pull tabs and adapters for adjustment. The front has a latch and link assembly with a leather protector and is equipped with a quick release assembly. Includes 11 ft. adjustable Tether that clips onto rear of the harness, with Quick Release Snap.

Harness Full Body STABO Tactical

Specially designed for rapid rappel and extraction op- erations. The waist and sternum buckles have second- ary Velcro safety closure over buckles. Mil spec load bearing vest shoulder straps are sewn into the harness allowing the harness to be worn under any military load bearing vest by replacing the existing harness straps with the Sabo straps and connecting the Alice clips of the vest the waist og the harness.

HELP Liferaft - SUR-3706-00

The easy to use HELPTM Kits are easily inflated by the downed pilot or crewman. The HELPTM can be launched for air drop and inflated by means of an airdrop lanyard or inflated in the water by pulling a “Pull to Inflate” Handle.
Effective helicopter operations mean it is necessary to conserve cost, weight, and space. The cost, weight, and size of life rafts most often prohibits installation on helicopters.
